Cary Collier: Creative
Cary Collier is an award-winning spa designer, industry leader, and co-founder of Blu Spas, Inc. known for the development of innovative wellness concepts. Cary has applied his sought after design and operations expertise to nearly 400 spas in 40 countries. He has held a variety of prestigious positions including co-founder of the ISPA Asia Pacific and VP on the Board of Directors and Advisory Board for Asian Spa Summits.
He has shared his perspectives and guidance with the industry as a speaker for widely attended conferences and events, including: Global Wellness Summits, Hospitality Design Expo & Conference, ISPA (USA & Asia), Urban Land Institute, Cornell University, and Hotel Executive. Cary attributes his success to honoring local culture and modalities, both ancient and modern.
Kim Collier: Visionary
Kim Collier is a visionary trendsetter in the spa industry, an accredited educator, and a licensed massage therapist. Winner of Conde Nast‘s “Top 25 Trendsetter” and nominated in the “Women In Wellness – Spa Consulting” category, Kim remains committed to wellness initiatives. Kim’s work in Southeast Asia inspired documentation to preserve traditional recipes and indigenous healing modalities.
As a holistic health practitioner, spa experience planner, and global spa therapy instructor, Kim contributes to spa, wellness and hospitality in forward thinking ways, including bringing hemp into hospitality and cannabis into wellness. Kim is a modern elder of massage therapy and through her deep respect for healing traditions and plant medicine, she is a go-to resource for elevated spa experiences.
Both Cary and Kim are credited with being among the original pioneers of the spa industry in Asia. Living and working in Bali, they were involved in the development of the region’s first spas including the Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay, Four Seasons Sayan Ubud, Nusa Dua Spa at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel in Bali, and Banyan Tree Phuket in Thailand. Since 2000, the Colliers have resided in Whitefish, Montana where they continue to work globally in the spa and wellness space.
